What should my athlete bring?+

Athletic shoes (court-only soles), knee pads, water bottle, hair tie, and a positive attitude. We provide pinnies and balls. Wear practice clothes you can move in.

How are age brackets determined?+

Every player tries out in their own age bracket — determined by their age on July 1, 2027. We have six brackets: 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, and 16U. Not sure which one? Use the age-group checker in the Club Tryouts box above.

Do you offer scholarships?+

Yes. We don't want cost to be the reason a kid can't play. Email Paul directly with a short note about your situation — applications stay private and decisions come back within a week.

What if my athlete has never played before?+

12U is built for first-year athletes. Coaches teach foundations from the ground up. The Training Only tier is also a great low-pressure entry point.

Can I observe tryouts?+

Parents are welcome in the bleachers. We ask that questions wait until coaches are done evaluating — they'll come find you after.

When are roster decisions communicated?+

Within 48 hours of tryouts. You'll receive a personal email from your athlete's bracket coach — yes or no, but always with feedback.

What's the practice schedule?+

All club team practices are Wednesday + Friday at Celebration K-8 Gym. 11U cohort: Mondays 5–6:15 PM. 12U/13U: Wed + Fri 6:15–7:30 PM. 14U: Wed + Fri 7:30–8:45 PM. 15U–16U: Wed + Fri 5–6:15 PM. Full schedule confirmed after tryout selection.

CCA Volleyball Club operates in Celebration, FL and practices at the Celebration K-8 gym at 951 Starling Dr. We're in our fourth season of competitive club volleyball – and our mission hasn't changed: to point people to Jesus through volleyball.

Whether your athlete is new to the game or looking to compete at the AAU and club level, CCAVBC is a community where players are coached, challenged, and cared for.
